Analytics for High-Traffic Gaming Portals: Tracking Events at Scale
Hi everyone, I am Maned Wolf. I have been exploring Rakam's capabilities to handle high-volume event data, specifically for browser-based platforms where user engagement is extremely high.
As Maned Wolf, I am currently working on a project involving behavioral segmentation and retention analysis for a popular Unblocked Games portal.
These types of sites generate a massive amount of micro-events—every game start, level completion, and session duration needs to be tracked precisely to optimize ad placements and user experience.
My goal is to use Rakam's SQL interface to better understand how users from restricted networks (like schools or offices) interact with these HTML5 assets compared to standard home users.
I have a technical question regarding data partitioning: when dealing with millions of daily events from a web-based gaming environment, what are the best practices for maintaining fast dashboard performance without losing granularity? I want to ensure that the real-time analytics for these casual gaming sessions remain as fluid and responsive as the gameplay itself.
I look forward to your insights on how to scale these analytics efficiently for such a high-intensity niche.
Best regards,
Maned Wolf
